The WOODWISE ACADEMY is a production training facility, which includes the following areas of training:
- Machine Woodworking
- Woodworking (Furniture, Joinery, Kitchen Installation)
- Upholstery
- CAD/CAM and CNC
- IT Training
- Health & Safety Centre of Excellence
The Academy will provide specialist programmes to the following cohorts:
- supporting apprentices
- people already employed in industry
- people unemployed or wishing a career change
- learners at school
- support and delivery for school and college members of staff
To give people the opportunity to look around, we are holding an open week, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd July. Please contact Elaine for further information.
Through our direct liaison with the employer, we provide specific courses and services aimed at both the employer and their learners. Upon completion, employers will have the benefits of improved PRODUCTIVITY, HEALTH & SAFETY and FLEXIBILITY OF STAFF.
These include - Apprenticeships, Machine Woodworking Training (all types of woodworking machinery), Health & Safety and many more.
As a Government Funded Provider, we will ensure that you are advised of the funding available to you.
