WHAT IS THE LEVEL 3 NVQ IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY?

The OAL Level 3 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety provides essential occupational health and safety knowledge and skills, from conducting risk assessments to introducing procedures and promoting a culture of health and safety in the workplace for those who are responsible for or looking to start a career in health and safety in an organisation in any industry.

This qualification is not a training qualification and you must be working in a health & safety position.

Level 3 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety will develop the competency for those who wish to develop skills and knowledge in the application of occupational health and safety good practice within the workplace.

On achievement of the qualification learners will have developed the level of competence which will enable them to perform consistently, reliably and productively in their work role, and make a positive contribution to their employment.
