  1. What are the benefits of training my staff?
    • Increased productivity, reduced downtime, increased awareness, reduction in accidents, and reduction in liability insurance.
  2. Can training be customised to suit my business needs?
    • Didac provides an extensive range of training courses and services that cover all aspects of the woodworking industry.
  3. How credible are the qualifications?
    • Didac are an approved centre with City & Guilds. Courses that are not City & Guilds are recognised by many organisations that meet minimum standards, such of that of the HSE.
  4. Are Didac staff trained and qualified?
    • YES. All staff are not only qualified, but they have all worked in the industry, many staff completing full apprenticeships.
  5. How do I know that I will receive a quality service?
    • Didac are subject to a number of third party audits and inspections, including the LSC, Ofsted and City & Guilds. Didac also work very closely with the HSE.

  1. How often do I need to train my staff?
    • HSE state that refresher training MUST take place every 3 to 5 years, regardless of the qualifications and experience of people using woodworking machinery

Health & Safety

  1. Can Didac help me to comply to PUWER 98 standards for my woodworking machines?
    • Didac will audit and then provide a written report on your machines to ensure they meet legal requirements as well as good practice standards.
