11/09/2009 - Occupational Health Partnership

New Occupational Health Service

We are pleased to announce that we are now working in partnership with an occupational health service provider. They are able to offer a range of occupational health services on a national basis. These range from one off independent medical assessments to a full time on site service.

All provision is tailored to meet each company's individual need.

The occupational health provider's experience and client base covers a wide range of industries including many years within the woodworking sector.

JOINERY COMPANIES

More and more joinery / woodworking companies are asking us to provide their training of apprentices as a result of the Bench Joinery Qualification NOT fully meeting their requirements.

This is mainly due to the low training or in some cases no training on woodworking machinery at a time when most companies manufacture everything by machine.

To meet this demand, we are offering tailor made apprenticeships for the joinery / woodworking sector using the furniture / woodworking framework, with units selected to meet companies needs, including a wood machining unit.

As Construction Skills recognise this qualification, those of you who claim grants can continue to do so.

If this is for you, please contact Jon or email courses@didac.co.uk to discuss your individual needs.
